Fast, custom-built websites focused on performance, discoverability and enquiries — including appointment booking and technical SEO.
- Astro / static websites
- Booking and enquiry systems
- Performance & Core Web Vitals
- CMS integration
Websites that have loaded before visitors bounce
I build on a modern static stack (Astro, Cloudflare) — without heavy themes and bloated page builders. The result loads in under a second, meets the Core Web Vitals and is rated well by search engines, because speed and technical quality are ranking factors.
What I typically build
- Company and presence websites — service providers, trades, studios, local businesses. A website that generates enquiries.
- Websites with appointment booking — online scheduling for studios, salons, consultancies and practices. Integrate an existing tool or build booking to measure.
- Websites with prices and an enquiry form — transparent prices and structured data increase trust and conversion.
- Relaunches — take over existing websites, make them fast and put them on a technically sound footing.
Always part of the deliverable
Every website is handed over with technical SEO built in from the ground up: structured data (JSON-LD), sitemap, meta tags, hreflang on multilingual projects and a configured Google Search Console. On request I create and optimise business profiles — for local providers often the fastest source of enquiries.
An award you can justify internally
An external developer has to pass two internal reviews: the commercial one and the data protection one. Both are prepared here before you have to ask.
- Written scope of work before the project starts — scope, line items, schedule and acceptance criteria are fixed before the first line of code is written. Anything added later is shown as a variation, not slipped into the final invoice.
- Source code in your repository from day one — not only at the end of the project, not on my infrastructure. You see every commit and can hand the project to another team at any time.
- Documented handover — architecture, deployment, dependencies and maintenance are recorded in writing. No knowledge that exists only in my head.
- Data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR as standard — prepared and part of the quote, not an addendum produced when your data protection officer asks.
Why from Prague
Processing takes place inside the EU: Czechia is a member state, the GDPR applies directly. Neither standard contractual clauses nor a transfer impact assessment are needed as they are with providers in third countries — a point that shortens a data protection review considerably.
Add to that the same time zone as Germany and Austria, so coordination happens in real time rather than the next day. And you talk directly to the person who builds it.
When it makes sense
- You want a website that brings in enquiries, not just a business card
- You need online appointment booking
- Your current website is slow or invisible in search
- You want to own the code, domain and data yourself
- You have to justify the award internally — to management and to data protection

FAQ
Can you build a website with appointment booking?
Yes. I integrate existing tools such as Calendly or Acuity, or build a booking system to your requirements — with capacity, payment and reminders.
Do you work with WordPress?
As a rule, no. I build custom with Astro and serve static pages from the edge, which is considerably faster than a theme loaded with plugins. If your team is to maintain content itself, I integrate a headless CMS.
What does a website cost?
Scope determines price. After a short initial call you receive a quote with individual line items — no surprises on the invoice. All prices exclude VAT.
How long does it take?
A presence site takes one to two weeks where the content already exists, and more extensive websites with booking or a CMS four to eight. The schedule with its interim milestones is part of the quote — you see progress, not just the result at the end.
Who actually works on my project?
I do. You talk to the person who builds it — no account management layer, no change of staff mid-project. For larger undertakings I bring in a fixed senior developer who is already briefed.
Planning a new project?
Get in touch — in a first call we go through your goals, the scope and whether I am the right person for it, with no obligation.
