Technical SEO

Technical SEO, structured data and Core Web Vitals — so search engines understand the website and customers find you.

  • Technical SEO audit
  • Structured data (JSON-LD)
  • Core Web Vitals and load time
  • Google Search Console and business profile

The work that compounds

Content dates, campaigns end. The technical foundation of a website keeps working: it decides whether a page is indexed at all, how fast it is served and whether search engines understand what it is about. Every text you publish afterwards benefits from it — which is why this is the part that compounds over the years.

I build that foundation: load time, indexability, structured data and a site architecture in which every page has a clear topic. The copy itself is written by you or your editor — I define which pages there have to be, what each of them targets and how they link to one another, and I coordinate with the writers during implementation.

What I check and fix

  • Core Web Vitals and load time — the measurable foundation, and a confirmed ranking factor.
  • Indexing — what search engines see, what they ignore, and why.
  • Structured data — JSON-LD for the organisation, services, FAQ and breadcrumbs, so content is classified correctly.
  • Site architecture — which pages are needed, what each targets and how they are linked internally. The template content is written against.
  • Multilingual setups — hreflang and canonicals, the most common source of errors on international websites.
  • Relaunch support — planning redirects and structure so that visibility is preserved.

How extensive redirect logic can become I know from practice: for a multi-supplier ticketing platform I built an edge router that compiles over 23,000 redirects directly into the bundle — for 45 languages and several partner brands.

Included on every project

Technical SEO is not an extra line item with me: I hand over every website with structured data, a sitemap, correct meta tags and a configured Search Console.

When it makes sense

How we work together

What you get

FAQ

What does a technical SEO audit cover?

I check load time and Core Web Vitals, indexing, structured data, meta tags, internal linking and the mobile rendering. You receive a list sorted by impact — and I can work through it directly.

Do you write content as well?

I build the foundation on which content can rank at all: site architecture, internal linking, keyword allocation per page and the technical markup. The copy itself is written by your team or an editor — I coordinate with both, set the structure and review the implementation. If you do not have anyone for it yet, I can put you in touch.

Do you set up Google Search Console and the business profile?

Yes. I create the profiles or take them over, add categories, opening hours and services, and link them to the website through structured data.

How quickly do results show?

Technical fixes often take effect within a few weeks, once the site has been recrawled. Sustained visibility takes longer and also depends on content and competition — I say that beforehand, not afterwards.

We are planning a relaunch. When should we bring you in?

Before go-live, not after. Redirects, URL structure and canonicals belong in the planning; if they are retrofitted after launch, the loss of visibility has already happened and recovery takes months.
