What you can hold me to

Awarding work to an external supplier has to be defensible internally — to management and to whoever owns data protection. These points apply to every project and are in the offer before you have to ask for them.

  1. 01

Fixed price against a fixed scope

Scope, line items, schedule and acceptance criteria are in writing before any work starts. The price is fixed from that point on. Anything added later runs as a separate change order with its own price — it does not surface on the final invoice.

  2. 02

    Payment against progress

On larger projects in instalments tied to delivered milestones, itemised so you can follow what each one covers. You pay for work that exists and that you can inspect.

  3. 03

Source code with you from day one

The code sits in your repository from the start, not on my infrastructure and not only at the end of the project. Rights of use transfer to you in full with the final payment. No proprietary dependencies, no vendor lock-in.

  4. 04

    Acceptance and warranty

Acceptance runs against the criteria set out in the offer — no surprise at the end. The statutory warranty applies. In addition to the statutory warranty period, I fix defects in the delivered scope free of charge for the first 30 days after acceptance.

  5. 05

    Data protection prepared, not retrofitted

A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is part of the offer, with sub-processors named. Processing takes place inside the EU — no standard contractual clauses and no transfer impact assessment required.

  6. 06

    If I am unavailable

Code, documentation and access all sit with you, on your accounts, throughout. For larger projects a named senior developer is briefed and ready. Your project does not depend on my being reachable.
